We then, like the Hebrews living in Egypt, apply the blood to our lives by faith – and so we grow in our ability to overcome all the devil’s schemes.

The Blood of Jesus

Date: 25 February 2018 | Speaker: Peter Jackel

The bible refers to the ‘precious blood of Jesus’ as that which saves us. When we think about the cross, we often focus on the death, burial and resurrection. But at the cross, the blood of Jesus was shed through injuries, beatings and ultimately being speared through the heart. It is the most important factor in how our salvation is won. Without the ‘shedding of blood there can be no forgiveness of sin’ – thanks be to God for the shed blood of His one and only son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
