Zoom Meetings

What is Zoom?

Zoom is software that can be installed on your home computer, tablet or phone which allows you to connect to a meeting.
Once connected, you can interact with the meeting participants to discuss and share thoughts.

What Do I Need to Join In?

The good news is that it’s simple to join in – you’ll need your device (laptop or desktop computer, tablet or phone) – then you
install the Zoom software and provide a Zoom Meeting ID (that your meeting coordinator will provide to you).

Note: that if you’re using a desktop computer, you need to have a Webcam and microphone installed.

On Computers

Go to the Zoom website and install the Zoom software – you can find the software by click here. Select Zoom Client for Meetings and install the downloaded software.

On Tablets & Phones

On tablets and phones you will need to locate the Zoom software (iPhones & IPads go to the AppStore, Android phones & Tablets go to the Play Store).

What is a Meeting ID?

Every meeting has a unique code that identifies it and this will be provided to you by the person who is organising the meeting.
Once you have the software installed and ready to go – simply start the application,
provide the meeting ID and you’re ready to roll!
