<p>Jesus represented God as as ‘Father’ to the people listening to His message. This was a revolutionary concept during His time as God was viewed within the Jewish community as being aloof and distance, mysterious and unknowable. Today we look at the role of God as our father, but also the role of men as father figures in their families and in their communities.</p>
